Student Advocacy

NORTH DALLAS HIGH SCHOOL

TIMES TEN STUDENT ADVOCACY INITIATIVE

Student Advocacy is a North Dallas HS initiative which addresses the need of every student to have an adult mentor and advocate while in school. An advocate is a supporter, backer, applauder, promoter, cheerleader, encourager, proponent, and a champion of student's well-being.  Each teacher/staff has at least ten students in his/her student advocacy group. Hence, the name of the initiative is TIMES TEN!

The goal of Student Advocacy Times Ten is to help students navigate through high school by infusing lessons and discussions on social and emotional learning, character education, and college and career readiness.
